Restorative Dentistry

Woman looking at her smile in a mirrorApart from your teeth and gum condition, the way your temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and the jaw function has a vital role in determining the health and comfort of your smile. At Elliott Dentistry, we offer restorative care to treat a wide selection of dental problems. Whether it is broken, worn, discolored, misshapen, or missing teeth, our dentist can provide gentle, personalized dental care that aligns with your needs and goals. We take time to carefully and thoroughly assess the health, function, and appearance of your full occlusal or bite structure. We understand that even with proper brushing and flossing at home, dental problems are likely to arise.

Our Restorative Dentistry Procedures

We are aware that no one patient's oral health needs are exactly like another's. As such, we have a wide array of teeth and gum repair and treatment options that patients can explore whenever seeking restorative care.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns can resolve several dental issues ranging from chippings, cracks, and fractures, to weakened teeth structures. These cap-like restorations encase the whole part of the tooth and are considered a viable alternative for teeth repair where fillings are not a choice. We provide crowns that are color-matched to the shade of teeth for a seamless appearance.

Dental Fillings

When cavitated teeth are ruining your oral health, fillings can be a solution. They serve to fix the cavity or hole within the outer layer of teeth. If your tooth has suffered decay, you can come in for dental fillings at our clinic. Our dentist will clean the tooth and clear the damaged tissue and then fill it to seal the hole.

Dental Implants, Dentures, and Dental Bridges

We also provide tooth replacement options like the All-on-4® Treatment Concept, single-tooth implants, multiple-tooth implants, and dentures. Our dentist mounts implant posts into the jawbone where they act as the teeth's root and support the artificial teeth. The dental implant can support a dental crown, a bridge, or even a denture.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Where a patient has multiple dental issues that need redress to rebuild the health, function, strength, and aesthetics of one's bite, we can perform full mouth reconstruction. It is a treatment that involves a series of restorative procedures including crowns, dental implants, fillings, inlays and onlays, veneers, bridges, reconstructive jaw surgery, and tooth extractions. Our full mouth reconstruction treatments are personalized based on the patient's goals and the concerns being addressed. We utilized full mouth reconstruction to resolve issues like toothaches, chips, cracks, jawbone pain, muscle pain, missing teeth, gummy smiles, and bite misalignment.

Root Canals

If a tooth has an infection that spreads inside the canals, root canal treatment may be provided. We utilize this treatment if the core areas of the tooth, including the nerves, connective tissues, and blood vessels in the pulp tissue are injured, infected, or damaged. Our dentist clears the diseased tissue, cleans the tooth, and disinfects it. A dental filling is placed, and a crown is mounted to cover the tooth.

Visit us at Elliott Dentistry if your oral health and function are at stake from various dental concerns and we will guide you through our restorative procedures. Call us at (503) 661-6111 to request a consultation.
